Welcome to our office! Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by one of our scheduling coordinators. They will be delighted to assist you with signing into our automated check-in system. Also at this time, they will ask you for the patient information forms that you received in the mail (or downloaded below) and had filled out prior to coming into the office.
One of our licensed dental assistants will take digital photographs of your face and teeth. You will then be escorted to the consultation room to meet with Dr. Bridgham, where he will perform an examination and review your photographs.
The initial appointment is a preliminary examination to determine if there is a need for orthodontic treatment. We understand that each patient comes to our office with different needs and expectations about orthodontics. That's why we have set aside a special time, during your first visit, to get to know one another and discuss your questions and concerns. Please allow 40 minutes for your complimentary visit.
If treatment is indicated, we will be happy to review the financial aspect of your care. Though fees will be based on individual cases, we offer a variety of affordable payment options. In order to assist you in receiving your maximum orthodontic insurance benefit, our Office Manager, Amy, will be happy to work with you in processing and submitting your claim. If time allows, diagnostic records can be taken or if preferred, a separate appointment can be scheduled. This information will enable Dr. Bridgham to identify your treatment needs.
For our younger patients who may require little or no treatment at the present time, careful evaluation should nevertheless be made. Dr. Bridgham will check the overall skeletal growth and dental eruption pattern. In some cases, limited interceptive treatment may be indicated or Dr. Bridgham may prefer to wait for more development and growth before starting with full orthodontic treatment.
Please assist us by providing the following information at your consultation:
- Your completed New Patient form
- Any panoramic X-ray taken within the last six months (or your dentist can e-mail it to us prior to your appointment at info@bridghamsmiles.com)
